Salt & Stone Selected for Venice Film Festival

We are thrilled to announce that Salt & Stone, directed by Carmen Reyes, has been selected for the official competition at the 82nd Venice International Film Festival.

The film, which tells the story of an Italian quarrying family facing modernization, will have its world premiere in September. This marks Iron Gate Films' first selection at Venice and a career milestone for director Carmen Reyes.

"Venice has always been a beacon for cinema that pushes boundaries while honoring tradition," said Reyes. "To premiere Salt & Stone there feels incredibly fitting given the film's themes."
